Contains the following: - Handwritten notes and Labanotation, and photocopies of information about the Cecchetti method of ballet. Notes, Labanotation and photocopies made mid- to late-20th Century. - Handwritten Labanotated scores for exercises from an elementary syllabus for men that was used to teach the Cecchetti method of ballet [this syllabus may come from the Imperial Scoiety of Teachers of Dancing, London]; scores written c1967. Also includes: - A printed copy of the syllabus, created c1967 - A published book of musical scores [likely to accompany the same syllabus] titled "Music for Classical Ballet According to the Method of Cav. Enrico Cecchetti: Major Examinations for Men - Elementary", composed by Norman Higgins. Book published by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London, 1967. - Copies of published Labanotated scores of exercises and techniques from the classical ballet syllabi (Cecchetti method) taught at the Juilliard School of Music, [New York, USA]. There are several sets of these Labanotated scores present. Included are: - First Year Syllabus, published 1955 - First Year Syllabus, published 1959 - First Year Syllabus, published 1980 - Second Year Syllabus, published 1959 - Third Year Syllabus, published c1959 - An annotated printed syllabus for the advanced examination in classical ballet (Cecchetti method) from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Incorporated, London. Printed 1955; annotated c1955. - An annotated photocopy of a syllabus for teaching ballet [presumably for teaching the Cecchetti method of ballet; it is not known where this syllabus comes from]. Syllabus created mid-20th Century; photocopy and annotations made late-20th Century.
