| Administrative History | Gillian was a member of both the National Froebel Foundation committee and the Archive Committee which reports to the Froebel Trust’s Education Committee. She was the greatly respected and loved Principal of the Saffron Walden Teacher Training College until 1977 when the James Report brought the closure of the smaller Colleges. She then became active in archive work based in London, including the British and Foreign School Society and the Saffron Walden Records. |
