| Description | The series predominantly dates c1940 - c1960s. It consists of season programmes and individual performance programmes and playbills of predominantly London venues. The programmes cover predominantly ballet performances of the Sadler's Wells Ballet Company (1940 - 1978), a large amount of which relates to performances at the Royal Opera House (1946 - 1978). Further, it comprises of programmes of various national and international ballet companies (1944 - 1991), as well as gala and state performances (1929 - 1974). In addition there are programmes of opera (1936 - 1971), music, including orchestra and recitals (1932 - 1985) and theatre performances (1930 - 1984) which include musicals. |
