| Description | Fred Bason was a friend of Richmal Crompton's and gave her several of the books he had written during the course of their acquaintance. This correspondence to Richmal Ashbee was written after Richmal Crompton had died, and asks for the books to be returned to Fred Bason. The correspondence is dated 1969.
Included with the correspondence is a leaflet from Fred Bason advertising the sale, by Fred Bason, of "The Saturday Book" volume 28 (which included an article by Fred Bason); leaflet created in c1969. |
