The file contains Labanotation scores of folk and ethnic dances from Africa, Armenia, Asia, Austria and Australia.
Most of the Labanotation scores are photocopies, made mid- to late-20th Century, with originals dated mid- to late-20th Century.
The African dances are the following:
- The "Ntore" dance of Hutu men
- Photocopy of published book "African Dances and Games: Described in Words and Labanotation" by Odette Blum. Book published by SELVA, New York, [USA], 1969. Photocopy made late-20th Century. (This book includes the dances: "Hatsitsia Rhythms: Why the Wily Spider is Always in a Corner", "Àmpé", "Passing the Stone", "Sìbré-Mànènkó", "Adènkúm", "Agìdé", "Bàngá", "Adawe", "Kókó-Sàwá", and "High Life".)
- Afro-Cuban dance steps in Calypso style, choreographed by Leora Luders
- "Atsiagbekor" (an African dance solo), choreographed by George Dzikunu
- "Com Ina Dis" (an African dance solo), choreographed by Carl Campbell
The Armenian dances are the following:
- The Croatian Indian dances in Paul Green's "The Lost Colony", choreographed by Fred Howard
- The published booklet "Armenian Folk Dances", published in 1975 by Folkraft-Europe. (This booklet includes the dances: "Halay", "Laz Bar", "Lorke Lorke", "Medax Tashginag", "Mooshetsi Bar or Mayorke (Muş Bari)", "Ooska Gookas", "Pa(m)poori", "Sepastia Bar", "Sirdes", "Tamzara", and "Yes Gharib Em".)
The Asian dances are the following:
