The file contains Labanotation scores of folk and ethnic dances from the Scottish Highlands, the Scottish Mainland, and South Africa.
The Labanotation scores are photocopies, made mid- to late-20th Century, with originals dated mid- to late-20th Century. Some of the scores have been annotated, with annotations made mid- to late-20th Century.
The Scottish Highland dances are the following:
- Labanotation of basic positions of the feet and arms
- "Argyll Broadswords"
- "Blue Bonnets over the Border"
- "Earl of Erroll"
- "Flora MacDonald's Fancy"
- "Ghillie Callum"
- "Highland Fling" (five Labanotated scores)
