Most of the Labanotation scores are photocopies, made mid- to late-20th Century, with originals dated mid- to late-20th Century. Includes the following dances: - "Sei La Ja Mu" (this Labanotated score is in German) - "Geselliger Mädchentanz" ("Social Girl Dance"), choerographed by Liu Feng Shueh (this Labanotated score is in German) - "Fröhlicher Bauerntanz", choreographed by Liu Feng Shueh (this Labanotated score is in German) - "Tin Tin Tini Marin" - "Yo Tse Baum", a Ba An dance of Sikiang Province - The beginning and end of Tibetan tap dance - Three Tibetan folk Dances, presented by Ai-Lian Dai [Dai Ailian] at the ICKL [International Council of Kinetography] in 1987 - A dance of the Tibetans from Batang in Xichuan Province Also includes serveral copies of the following books: "Eight Tibetan Folk Dances" by Dai Ailian. (The book contains musical scores and Labanotation scores for the following dances: "Xiaji Aga" ("Beautiful Bird"); "Regong Tuze" ("Rabbit"); "Shounan Qinbu" ("Good Fortune"); "Yozi Baomu" ("Praising Batang"); "Jiaxi Daxi" ("Good Luck"); "Hajia Jizai" ("Respects to Buddha"); "Jiamula" ("Devotion"); and "Parila".) The following copies are present: - Handwritten musical scores for the book, written c1947; plus photocopies of the same musical scores, photocopies made mid-20th Century. - A photocopy of the original manuscript for the book, written 1947; photocopy made mid-20th Century. - Handwritten copies of the Labanotation scores from the book, made c1956. - The 1988 publication of the book, with an inscription to Ann [Ann Hutchinson Guest] from the author, inscription dated 1988; plus a photocopy of the 1988 publication of the book, photocopy made late-20th Century. _ A photocopy of the 1999 publication of the book, in English and Chinese; photocopy made c1999. "Eight Yi Folk Dances" by Dai Ailian. (The book contains musical scores and Labanotation scores for the following dances: "Dage" dances of the Lolo sect of the Yi nationality; "Three Steps Forward, Four Back" a couple dance of the Baipu sect of the Yi nationality; "Aser!!" a dance of the Lolo sect of the Yi nationality; "Xianzi Circle Dance" of the Hualo (Pugeng) people; and "Moon Dance" of the Sani sect of the Yi nationality.) The following copies are present: - The 1988 publication of the book, with an inscription to Ann [Ann Hutchinson Guest] from the author, inscription dated 1988; plus a photocopy of the 1988 publication of the book, photocopy made late-20th Century.
