DescriptionA table of contents can be found at the front of the file; this table of contents dates to c2000s The file contains Labanotated scores of and musical scores for folk and ethnic dances from England, Yugoslavia, France, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. The Labanotated scores have been created by the Language of Dance Centre, using dances from the elementary syllabus of the National Dance branch of the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing). The Labanotated scores are photocopies, made c1970s, with originals dated 1970s. The English dances are the following: - "Sellenger's Round" - "Twin Sisters" - "Helston Fury" - "Cumberland Square" - "Sweet Kate" - "Morpeth Rant" - "Winster Morris Reel" - "Shepherd's Hey" - "Sailor's Hornpipe" The Yugoslavian dances are the following: - "Selyanchitsa" - "Bufcansko" - "Bela Rada" ("Pretty Face") - "Neda Grivny" ("Grey Skies") - "Paduska" The French dances are the following: - "Gymnaska" and "Ridee de Pontivy" - "Gavotte" - "Polka Piquee" - "La Crusado" - "Soyotte" The Finnish dance is the following: - "Fist Polka" The Danish dance is the following: - "Totur" The German dance is the following: - "Kreuz König" The Swedish dances are the following: - "Lott is Dead" - "Daldans" Also includes "Horlepijpe", a dance from Holland, Denmark, Norway and South Africa.
