DescriptionA brief table of contents can be found at the front of the file; this table of contents dates to late-20th Century. The file contains correspondence and documents relating to the "Pioneers in Dance Education Lecture Series" in June 1987, which was organised by the Department of Dance and Dance Education at New York University, [USA], for the ADage (Accenting Dance in Arts in General Education) project. The correspondence and documents in the file were compiled by Ann Hutchinson Guest, who was asked to present one of the lectures as a "dance pioneer". All documents in the file date to 1987. Included within the file are: - Correspondence and documents describing the lecture series and making arrangements for Ann Hutchinson Guest to give one of the lectures. - Handwritten notes taken during the lectures [presumably written by Ann Hutchinson Guest]. - A photocopy of the typed text of Ann Hutchinson Guest's lecture, titled "Dance Literacy and the Language of Dance". - Typed text copies of all the lectures in the series.
