| Description | This series consists of a poetry anthology. The preface states "Nothing spectacular was intended when the F.E.I. Literary Society set out to produce this collection of verse for children. Nothing spectacular has been produced. It is simply a collection of fifty-seven poems which individuals among us have taught, or would like to teach, to children, and which were considered by the others on the committee to have sufficient merit to justify their inclusion. [...] Our purpose was to make a small anthology, for other students, of some poems which are not much anthologized, and are therefore not generally available, which they might find useful in teaching." |
