Description	Contains correspondence sent to Richmal Ashbee [niece of Richmal Crompton] from "Auntie" [Richmal Crompton]; correspondence dated 1964-1967. Also includes the following: - A black and white photograph [of Richmal Crompton] standing in a garden; photograph taken in the c1960s. - A black and white photograph of Richmal Crompton Lamburn [also known as Richmal Crompton] seated in a bookshop, signing books for children standing beside her; photograph taken in the c1960s. This photograph has been annotated on the back to give copyright information and to include notes relating to [reproductions of the photograph?]; annotations made in the c1960s-c1980s. The photgraph also includes a typed caption on a separate piece of paper; caption written in the c2000s. - A note stating "All good wishes - Richmal Crompton"; note written in the c1960s. - Christmas cards sent to Richmal [Richmal Crompton?] from friends [and fans?] (one card contains a drawing of [Richmal Crompton's character] William by the sender); cards dated c1968. - Notes [written by Richmal Crompton] containing memoranda, ideas for stories, and [quotes from literature?]; notes written in c1962-1968. The notes have been written on scrap paper. Items used for scrap paper include: an account for royalties to be paid by George Newnes Limited, London, publishers (account dated 1966); and a letter to RC Lamburn [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] from AP Watt and Son, London, [literary agents], discussing a publishing agreement for "William's Bad Resolution" (letter dated 1962). - Empty envelopes addressed to Army and Navy Stores, London, to Mrs Moss, and to R Crompton [Richmal Crompton?]; [the addresses on the envelopes all appear to have been written by Richmal Crompton]; envelopes addressed in the c1960s.
