Description | This diary and notebook was written during Gwen's time at school [St Elphin's School, Warrington, Lancashire, and then Darley Dale, Derbyshire].
The notebook contains: some diary entries; doodles and drawings; poems; a list of addresses; diagrams that appear to relate to schoolwork; costume designs for a production of "Cinderella"; accounts for money received by Gwen and her siblings at Christmas 1904; and other notes. (One of the entries in the notebook is written in French.) |
