DescriptionThe file contains the following: - A press cutting from "The Times", 10 November 1990, containing the article "William and the Big Party" by Lynne Greenwood, about celebrations at St Elphin's School for the centenary of Richmal Crompton's birth. - An annotated, typed draft copy of an article by Richmal Ashbee [niece of Richmal Crompton] titled "Richmal Crompton: St Elphin's"; draft copy created in 1990. - Correspondence sent to Richmal Ashbee [niece of Richmal Crompton] from St Elphin's School, arranging meetings, containing news about the school, and discussing the William stories; correspondence dated 1995-2002. - A covering letter sent to Richmal [Richmal Ashbee, niece of Richmal Crompton] from [a member of staff at St Elphin's School?] with a [school] magazine; letter dated 1997.
