Some of the notes are written on the back of an advertising leaflet for the book "Wiseman's Folly" by Richmal Crompton [this is not a William book], which includes quotes from critics; leaflet created in 1959.
- Notes [written by Richmal Crompton] about religion and theology; notes written in the early- to mid-20th Century.
- Notes [written by Richmal Crompton], in the early- to mid-20th Century, containing the text of two Christian prayers: "S Patrick's Prayer" and "Anima Christi (medieval prayer)". The notes are written on the back of an invitation to a showing of a clothing collection at Harvey Nichols and Company Limited, London; invitation created in the early- to mid-20th Century.
- Notes [written by Richmal Crompton] about psychology; notes written in c1957. Some of the notes are written on scrap paper. Items used for scrap paper include: a letter from the National Book Leage, London, to its members, discussing an increase in subscription fees (letter dated 1957); and a letter to Miss Lambourne [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] from St Elphin's School, Darley Dale, [Derbyshire], requesting an autograph (letter dated 1957).

- A press cutting from "Woman" containing part of an article about quotations by Godfrey Winn [title of the article not stated], which includes a quote from the book "Blue Flames" by Richmal Crompton [this is not a William book]; article published in c1969.
