Inside the suitcase is a label giving the address of Lamburn [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] at Chislehurst, Kent; the label was written [by Richmal Crompton] in the c1950s-c1960s. [This suitcase was used to hold some of Richmal Crompton's documents when they were deposited with Archives and Special Collections.]
