DescriptionThe desk pad blotter contains 2 sheets of blotting paper made by Ford, that are watermarked with the words "Ford 428 Mill". The blotting paper has been used. The pad and the blotting paper were made in the early- to mid-20th Century.
Physical DescriptionThe pad is made of wood. The sides of the pad are covered with black leather; the top of the pad is lined with a [faux?] green leather; and the bottom of the pad is lined with green felt. Black leather corners have been attached to the top of the pad to keep the blotting paper in place. The pad is 45.5cm x 29.5cm. The pad contains two sheets of white blotting paper, which have been used. The sheets of blotting paper are 57cm x 44.5cm, and have been folded in half to fit inside the pad.
