Description | The box was used to package goods [clothing?] sold by the shop Debenham and Freebody, London. These goods were posted in the box to Miss Lamburn [Richmal Crompton Lamburn, also known as Richmal Crompton] in 1965. [The original contents of the box are no longer present.]
Labels on the side of the box [written by Richmal Crompton] state that the box was later used to store "Christmass cards, envelopes and wrapping paper"; labels written in the 1960s. [These christmass cards, envelopes and wrapping paper are no longer present.]
