DescriptionPair of spectacles with a green, plastic frame. The frame has been stamped with the code 46X66. The spectacles were made in the c1960s. The spectacles are enclosed in a spectacle case that has been stamped with the address and telephone number of Cecil C Amey, Norwich, [opticians]. The case was made in the c1960s. [It is not clear if the spectacles and the spectacle case were made by Cecil C Amey, or if only the spectacle case was made by Cecil C Amey.] Included within the spectacle case is a note stating that the spectacles belonged to Richmal Crompton Lamburn [also known as Richmal Crompton]; note written in the c2000s.
Physical DescriptionThe spectacles consist of [glass?] lenses with green plastic frames; the hinges are made of metal. The spectacles are 13cm wide x 4cm high, with 14cm long arms. The case is made of metal with an outer coating of brown, painted fabric, and an inner coatin
