Administrative History | Rev Harry Baber was appointed Chaplain to the College in 1846 and, from 1850, was also Secretary to the Council. He effectively ran the College, aided by the Lady Superintendent or Head Governess, until his retirement in 1872.
He has been a curate in Kensington (with Rev John Sinclair, a founder of Whitelands) and later Vicar of Forebridge in Staffordshire and Diocesan Inspector of Schools.
