Administrative History | Around about the time the Union Society was formed in 1947 the following committees existed: Dramatic Society, Music Society, Art and Craft Society, Geographical Society, Film Club, Student Christian Movement (S.C.M.) - ‘a fellowship of students who desire to understand the Christian faith and live the Christian life’, and Games Club – incorporating all sports not part of the curriculum including hockey, netball, rounders, tennis, swimming, stoolball, cricket, badminton and table tennis.
Later clubs include Folk Dance, Debating, Christian Union, Political, Philosophers and Artists
Throughout the 1920s the College had an active Girl Guides (Ranger) group, the 6th Chelsea Girl Guides. This appears to still have been active, or to have been resurrected in the 1960s.
