Photo album monogrammed 'IS' with snapshot and postcard photos mainly in the range 1925-31, although there are a couple from the c.1980s. Most photos are captioned. Includes images of ‘Swanick’ and ‘Queen Minnie’s School’ but mostly of Whitelands. Note that many images are missing, especially towards the end of the album. The album also contains a letter to Iris from Winifred Mercier, dated ‘May Day’. On the first page is a message ‘To Iris, with love and wishing you much happiness, from Daisy Le [Cross?], September 11, 1927’. |
