| Description | This series consists of meeting minutes (2005-2014), general correspondence, prospectuses, regulations, and files. Files include the following: "Confidential Reports on Colleges," "Consultations with Ministry of Education and Institute of Education over Relations with Area Training Organisations", "Cooperative Study Scheme on 'Finding Out' Activities" and "Education Committee." Much of the correspondence is between Miss Eglantine Jebb, Miss Nightingall, Molly Brearley and Miss Esther Lawrence on topics such as course content, examinations, lecturers, newsletters, regulations, standing committee, syllabuses, terms of qualification for teaching certificate, and tuition fees. Of note, it includes regulations for the award of the Diploma in Natural History and regulations for the award of the Teacher's Diploma in Handwork, and a syllabus of classes for the Elementary Certificate examination from 1886. It also includes 36 pamphlets published by National Froebel Foundation and a pamphlet list with prices. |
