May and "The Parents' Role in the Child's Development in the United Kingdom." "Hill House is where groups of deprived children can enjoy spacious living and country air for a term at a time. Save the Children Fund commitments are growing rapidly and perhaps the most important of them is the provision of play-groups for the under fives in many depressed areas of large cities, and also helping hospitals to provide play opportunities under leaders in the children's wards."
